Director of Event Logistics
Kevin Cook was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
As a teenager he was influence by a mentor in youth ministry. During his high school years he volunteered with Youth for Christ and felt a call to work with youth.
He earned a four year year from Emmaus College with a double major in Bible and Elementary Education. Kevin has been a full time middle school teacher in Tarrant County for seven years.
His focus is often on youth with learning disorders and troubled backgrounds. Kevin has been one of Youth Direct's most active volunteers for over six years and was a counselor at two Youth Direct summer camps at Eagle Mountain Lake.
In juvenile facilities, he takes time to build relationships with youth before sharing Christ with them and has effectively led many to Salvation. Kevin is active in his local church as a music leader.
Mr. Cook will develop relationships with juvenile facility chaplains, volunteer coordinators, and superintendents as he develops plans for Youth Direct volunteers and performers entering juvenile facilities of all sizes and diverse populations.
